This page explains what data becomeainative.io collects, why, and who processes it. Last updated: 18 October 2026.

What we collect

When you apply for a cohort, we collect your name, email address, your role and current work situation, and, if you fill them in, your LinkedIn profile link and what you want to change in how you work. We use this only to review your application and contact you about the program. We don't sell it or use it for advertising.

Tally

The application form is provided by Tally and is shown on our pages in an embedded frame loaded from tally.so. Tally stores your answers and passes them to us. When the form loads, your browser connects to Tally, which receives your IP address and basic request details, as any website does.

Google Analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to see how visitors use the site, for example which pages are viewed and how many people apply for a cohort. It sets cookies (such as _ga) that last up to two years.

Google Analytics is only loaded if you click Accept in the cookie banner. Until you choose, or if you decline, your browser makes no requests to Google and no analytics cookies are set. If you accept and later change your mind, we stop loading Google Analytics and remove its cookies. When it is loaded, data is processed by Google; see Google's privacy policy.

Your choice is saved in your browser's local storage (not a cookie) so we don't ask again. You can change it at any time:

Hosting

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub receives your IP address and basic request details to deliver the site and keep it secure. Our own fonts and scripts are hosted on this site. The only external services are Tally, which loads the application form on pages that show it, and Google Analytics, if you accept it.

How long we keep it

We keep application details until the cohort is selected and the program starts, or until you ask us to delete them.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
